Husein Alicajic
Husein Alićajić is an Australian writer and director known for strong visual storytelling.
He studied Economics, Philosophy, and Communications before pursuing filmmaking.
His short film BEGINNINGS won the Dendy Award at the Sydney Film Festival and received multiple nominations, while his script Divine Shadows earned him an IF Award.
He has also received recognition from major international festivals and industry bodies, including Cannes and the Australian Directors’ Guild, winning Best Direction for an Online Drama Series in 2020 for ONE SIDED.
